The THEATER AN DER PARKAUE is an accepted standard in the national and international children and youth scene by its productions and festivals.
Mythes from former days, fairy tales who everybody knows, freshly written and translated textes, old known pieces and classics from 2000 years of litterature are fitted to aesthetics of today and part of the theater program.
By 15 premieres in the season 2016/2017 and around 20 repertoire pieces the
THEATER AN DER PARKAUE gives opportunity to experience how manifold and sensual theater can be.
In Kay Wuschek’s production “The Robbers” all figures are in a permant state of fight. Charity begins at home and nobody is able to trust anybody especially himself.
Franz don’t want to be no more the disadvantaged second born. He intrigues against his brother and sets his father to cast him away. Finally he can take the place of Karl. Beside himself Karl becomes the head of a robber gang and strolls killing through the Bohemian woods. Someday his conscience picks him and he ask himself questions about guilt, responsibility and morale.
“The robbers” are one of the very successful production of the THEATER AN DER PARKAUE.
The Premiere of the piece took place on 19. Januar 2016.
